"Svend Bjerg was born in 1903. he lives in Fjand, western part of Jutland DK where he is a farmer. He has played the fiddle since theage of 15 for both public dances and privare parties.
This recording is from his kitchen telling stories and play with the Kristian Blak (p), Hans Ole Larsen (f), Jan Danielson (f), Søren Hansen (acc)
Most of the melodies on this recording are ones Svend Bjerg has always known and played. Some (for example Svensk schottisch, Det skæve tårn i Pisa, Vals sekstur), he has learned mere recently from records and folkdance books." (From the original LP 1978)
