DANISH FOLK ROCK
Now from the first time they are together in the band Serras. Most of the members of Serras have their roots in styles of music other than traditional, but they all have a great interest in exploring, working with and expressing music emerging from their own culture. Harald Haugaard, the one in Serras most deeply involved with traditional Danish music, found a number of themes in old dusty music books from, among others, the clerk Rasmus Storm from the south Funen, the flautist Count Otto von Raben from Lolland and the Faeroese student of theology, Jens Christian Svabonius from Copenhagen.
The bandmembers have worked with many styles of music and still do. As a result, the music is characterised by this multitude of styles. - The style of SERRAS.
